Series will launch next year with “The Awakening of Spring,” an adaptation “Spring Awakening”

here!, a gay and lesbian-targeted subscription cable and satellite channel, is harkening back to TV’s roots for a new series.
here! Center Stage will adapt classic theater for the small screen, evoking the “Playhouse 90” era of early, live TV, when adaptations of stage plays were a staple.
The series will launch next year with “The Awakening of Spring,” an adaptation of the Frank Wedekind play, “Spring Awakening,” the controversial 1891 German play about teenagers discussing sexuality in the absence of any clear guidance on the subject from adults.
The series will essentially televise stage productions with “minimal” sets or props.
GLBT Rights Supporters Needed For Dr. Phil Show!
Diane Olson and Robin Tyler, plaintiffs in the Supreme Court petition
to overturn Propostion 8, and their attorney Gloria Allred will be
taping the Dr. Phil show at Paramount Studios in Hollywood this
Tuesday, Nov. 18 from 2-4 PM.
Dr. Phil would like very strong, opinionated people in the audience.
The Yes on 8 people have already sent out an announcement to their supporters..

Stop The Media!
Please write to your local TV stations. We have noticed a trend in their reporting of our protests and rallies.
1) We are “last week’s news”. They spend very little time covering the marches.
2) The incorrectly report the number of protestors — usually not in our favor.
3) They focus on violence, even if there isn’t any.
4) They focus on those who don’t share the majority of the GLBT community’s views.
5) They are promoting the race issue.
